Things people ask before booking.

Yes. Every engagement is paid in advance through the booking link. There are no free discovery calls, no introductory chats, no sales meetings. This isn’t gatekeeping for its own sake — it’s how senior consulting actually works, and it’s what lets me keep rates accessible. Free calls require a sales funnel to make economic sense. Paid calls don’t.
The call itself, a pre-call intake form, the recording and auto-transcript afterward, and a short bullet recap of agreed next steps. For The Strategy Hour ($250) and up, you also get one async follow-up question by email within seven days of the call. That’s it. Anything beyond that is a new engagement.
You have three options: book a Diagnostic Sprint ($499 / 90 min), book multiple Strategy Hours back-to-back, or start a Standing Advisory retainer ($1,500/mo). For most situations, an hour is enough to either solve the problem or scope what a deeper engagement would look like.
Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before the call. Within 24 hours, no refund — but I’ll happily reschedule once. No-shows forfeit the booking. These rules exist because the calendar slot is the product. If you book it and don’t use it, that hour is gone for both of us.
Yes, mutual NDAs are fine. Send it over before the call. I will not sign non-competes, exclusivity agreements, or anything that would restrict my ability to work with other clients in your space — that’s incompatible with how independent consulting works.
Yes. Office Hours and Strategy Hour are designed for one or two people max. Diagnostic Sprints accommodate up to three team members. For Standing Advisory, the primary contact joins both monthly calls; other team members can join ad-hoc on the second call.
No. I do organic search and content strategy. If you ask me about your Meta Ads on the call I’ll politely redirect. I have trusted referral partners for paid, email, and CRO and I’m happy to introduce you to them — but I won’t pretend to be a generalist agency. Specialization is the entire point.
No. I consult only. I do not write content, fix code, run ad accounts, manage retainers, or hand-execute audits. The output of an engagement is the strategy and the recording of how we got to it. You or your team (or your agency) execute. This is why hourly consulting works as a business model — it scales with my brain, not my hands.
Bookings are paid by card at the time of booking through Stripe. If your company requires invoicing through a procurement system, email me before booking and I’ll send a Stripe Invoice you can pay through your AP process. Note: the calendar slot only locks when payment clears, so invoiced engagements are typically scheduled 5-10 days out.
Mostly yes. My deepest expertise is eCommerce SEO — Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, headless stacks. I’ll take calls from B2B SaaS, lead-gen sites, and content-heavy publishers too, but the work is sharper when you sell physical or digital products to real customers.
