I’m Matthew Lovett. I currently lead SEO and content strategy at 1Digital® Agency, where I oversee enterprise eCommerce engagements across Shopify, BigCommerce, and headless stacks. Before that, I founded Crimson Sigil Media and ran independent SEO operations for D2C brands across health, lifestyle, and specialty retail.

Things people actually ask me before booking.

Most of my work is with established D2C and eCommerce brands doing somewhere between $100,000 and $10M in annual revenue. If you’re pre-revenue or just starting to get traction, there is still immense value I can offer, however it should come with the understanding that it can often take upwards to 5 years for a brand to start generating substantial revenue through organic alone. There is still no magic revenue switch in eCom (believe me, I’ve looked).

You’re hiring the strategist, not a pyramid of account managers and junior analysts. I do the diagnostic work myself, build the strategy myself, and either execute it with your team or hand it to an agency partner. You pay for thinking and direct growth consultation.

The Revenue Gap Analysis is a fixed-scope engagement with a clear price of $250. Other engagements come with different pricing based on the scope. 

While I can and do consult on these channels, I can provide the most value through SEO, and this is often where I see online stores (even big ones) struggle the most. If you’re already generating several thousand dollars of revenue every year, chances are ads and email are driving a good chunk of this. 

I can tell just by skimming your website for a few minutes if you’re a good fit or not. There’s no point in a discovery call because it’s not an efficient use of my time, or yours. I strive to make each engagement impactful, therefore I prefer to do away with the theatrics and back and forth of the discovery or sales pitch process. You either know you need help, or you don’t. It’s not my job to convince you, it’s my job to help you.
